OUAT Assistant Professor found dead inside house in Odisha capital
Bhubaneswar: Mystery shrouds the death of an Assistant Professor of Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) who was found hanging inside a room of his house in OUAT Colony here in wee hours today.
Reports said Assistant Professor Basanti Jena was found hanging from the ceiling of the room this morning. Though the exact reason of her death is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that she committed suicide late last night.
On receiving information, Khandagiri police reached the spot and sent the body to Capital Hospital here for postmortem. Besides, a scientific team will shortly visit the house for investigation, said police.
