Pancha Mahabhuta Treatment facility available at Healthville: Dr. Satyabrata Minaketan

Bhubaneswar: In an interview, Dr. Satyabrata Minaketan, educator, social worker and founder of Healthville, talked about the naturopathy centre established in Cuttack’s Barang area.

 What is the purpose of opening Healthville naturopathy centre?

The purpose is to diagnose and cure all ailments of patients with meditation, yoga, pranayama and asanas. Instead of using chemical substances and medicines with chemical compositions, at Healthville, we focus on natural and herbal treatments that are cost-effective and pose no side-effects on the patients.  The Pancha Bhuta treatment is simple, painless and inexpensive.

Where is it opened?

It has been established on a 25-acre land in a calm, green and pollution-free environment in Bhalunka locality of Barang area.

For what ailments does it provide special treatment facilities?

Treatments for respiratory diseases, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, pleurisy, digestive disorders, menstrual irregularities in women, cancer, stress-related diseases and various allergies are available here.

Where did you get inspiration for Healthville?

I have always been fascinated with the natural methods of treating several ailments mentioned in the Charaka and Sushruta texts of Ayurveda. The healthcare systems by Mahatma Gandhi and Vinoba Bhave also inspired me. In fact, motivated by Gandhi Ji’s ideals and values, I have named this healthcare center Shantiban.

Can you tell us about the books you have written about naturopathy?

My four major books on naturopathy are U Can Plan Your Diet, U Can Say No To Doctor, You Can Say No To Medicine, and You Can Lead Healthy Life. The approach of these books is to diagnose and cure all diseases through a balanced, natural diet, a balanced lifestyle, yoga, pranayama and meditation.

What are the provisions for the poor?

The underprivileged people can avail the treatments either at a very low price or free of cost. There are provisions of free medical care for the helpless ones.

 From which places are patients coming here for treatment?

People from various walks of life come to Healthville for treatments. Also, health enthusiasts from the state and also from several corners of the world keep visiting too.
