Papankusha Ekadashi falls on the ekadashi tithi of the Shukla Paksha during the lunar month of Ashwin in the Hindu calendar.
It is a fasting day and dedicated to Lord Vishnu. On this day, devotees worship Lord Padmanabha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

Papankusha Ekadashi Vrat Rituals: Devotees observe a fast on this day. They wake up early in the morning, take bath and wear clean clothes.
The vrat observers don't speak lies on this day. The vrat ends on dwadashi.
The devotees also offer food and some form of donations to a Brahmin before breaking the fast.
They spend their time reciting and singing Vedic mantras and bhajans in the praise of Lord Vishnu. Reading ‘Vishnu Sahasranama’ is also considered to be very auspicious on this day.
