Paradip, Dec 22 :

Four of family were burnt alive and 60 houses, gutted when a massive fire broke out in the Lokpara area here late last night.

The fire erupted in the slum around midnight and it took fire tenders 2 hours to control the fire .

A couple and their two children were burnt to death when they are fast asleep, reports said adding 200 people have been rendered homeless as a result of the mishap.

The local administration has rushed in with help.

There is still no clarity on what caused the massive fire.
