Nayagarh: In a shocking twist in the sensational case of sexual assault and murder of 5-year-old girl Pari of Jadupur village in Nayagarh, the POCSO court today maintained that the accused will be treated as a minor.

The case will now be transferred to Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) for further investigation, ordered the court.

The court pronounced the decision while hearing a petition filed by the  parents of accused Saroj Sethy claiming that he was a minor on the day of the incident.

The court also rejected the appeal made by Special Investigation Team (SIT) yesterday for the narco analysis test of the accused.
