Pari murder case: Accused denies narco analysis test

Nayagarh: In a major development in the sensational Pari murder case of Nayagarh district, the accused minor today refused to undergo narco analysis test before the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) here.

After being produced before JJB by the Special Investigation Team (SIT), the accused today denied in writing to undergo the narco analysis test. Following this, the court rejected the SIT’s plea for the narco test.

On January 4, the SIT had appealed the POCSO Court to give permission for conduct of the test of the accused. Hearing the  plea the next day, the POCSO court had maintained that the accused will be treated as a minor and the decision on the narco test will be taken by the JJB.
