Passengers coming to Odisha from 12 states to undergo home isolation

Bhubaneswar: The passengers coming to Odisha from Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, West Bengal, Punjab, Delhi, Chandigarh, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh will have to undergo mandatory home isolation for 7 days, the state government said today.

If they develop any COVID-19 symptoms during the period of home isolation, they will be subjected to RT-PCR test. If found COVID-19 positive, they will be treated as per the treatment protocol.

All the passengers coming from the above mentioned states will be screened at the point of arrival at airports and railway stations as per the protocol. This apart, on-site Rapid Antigen Testing of all the symptomatic passengers will be carried out.
