Patient among four critical as ambulance hits truck in Odisha's Balasore

Balasore: An ambulance hit a truck on NH-16 near Uttareshwar Bazaar in Soro area of Odisha's Balasore district today leaving four persons, including a patient, critically injured.

The ill-fated ambulance rammed into a stationary stone-laden truck from rear. The victims sustained grievious injuries in the mishap and have been admitted to the Balasore district headquarters hospital.

The patient and kin were on their way to West Medinipur from Bhubaneswar after treatment at a hospital in Odisha's capital city, sources said.
