Phulbani remained the coldest place in Odisha recording 3.6 degree Celsius today as an intense cold wave continued to sweep the state.
Temperatures dipped to below 10 degree in Jharsuguda (9.9), Keonjhar (6.9), Hirakud (8.8), Bhawanipatna (7), Koraput (8.4), Daringbadi (8) and Dhenkanal (9.3).
Besides, temperature remained between 10 and 13 degree Celsius in Baleswar (13.1), Chandbali (12.6), Cuttack (11.4), Paradip (13.2), Bhubaneswar (11.6), Gopalpur (13.8), Puri (13.7), Angul (10), Baripada (10.2), Sambalpur (10.8), Sundargarh (10.9), Talcher (10.5), Bolangir (10.1), Titlagarh (11), Malkangiri (12.6) and Sonepur (11).
A Met office release this evening said there would be little change in the cold wave condition in the state till December 31.
