Playback Singer Tapu Mishra hospitalised

Bhubaneswar: Noted playback Singer Tapu Mishra has been undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar since Wednesday evening.

Mishra reportedly tested positive for Covid-19 few days back and was in home isolation. When Mishra’s condition deteriorated last evening, her family members took her to the private hospital. Currently, she has been admitted to the ICU of the hospital.

Tapu Mishra has won numerous accolades and recognitions for her melodious voice.

Mishra's father passed away on May 10 after being infected with Covid-19.
