Plus II Admission process begins in Odisha; know how to apply

Bhubaneswar: The process for Admission into Plus Two courses in all streams began in Odisha today  a notification stated here today.

Students can apply for the courses by submitting Common Application Form (CAF) on www.samodisha.gov.in 11 AM onwards today. Last date for submission of the application forms is September 9.  No form will be accepted offline. All relevant documents of the applicants will be verified at the selected Higher Secondary School during the time of admission only.

Worth mentioning, the state Government has decreased the admission fee by Rs 100 this year in view of the COVID-19 crisis. The application fees for General Category is Rs 200 and Rs 100 for ST & SC Category.

The first phase merit list will be out at 11 AM on September 9  and admission of the shortlisted candidates will be held between September 11 and 18. The second phase merit list will be released on September 23 and the selected students will be enrolled between September 24 and 28.

The list of enrolled students will be released at 6 pm on September 28 while the spot-selection list will be out at 11 AM on October 1.  Students can do registration for the spot admission between October 1 and 3. The spot admission will be held on October 5.

Around 5.60 lakh students had appeared in the exam this year, results of which were declared on July 29. The pass percentage stood at 78.76 % this year.
