Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed Lord Jagannath and Odisha today during his two-day visit to Moscow.

Addressing the Indian diaspora in Moscow, Modi chanted 'Jai Jagannath' and flaunted Odisha's handloom scarf.

"The festival of Mahaprabhu Jagannath is underway. Odisha has made a great revolution, so I have come here with an Odia scarf. May Mahaprabhu Jagannath bless you all with good health and prosperity," Modi said.

During his address to the Indian community in Moscow, he talked about the victory of the BJP-led NDA that was voted to power for the third consecutive term in India.

"After 60 years, a government was elected for third time in India and it is a big thing in itself. The elections were also held in four states -- Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Andhra and Odisha. The NDA won in these states with a clean sweep majority," the PM said.
