PM Modi, CM Naveen greet Odisha people on Pana Sankranti

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Maha Vishuba Sankranti or Pana Sankranti, which heralds the Odia New Year.

“Wishing the vibrant Odia community a Happy New Year!,” Modi tweeted. “This Maha Vishuba Sankranti, may all your wishes come true. Praying for everyone’s well-being and happiness,” he said in the tweet.

Similarly, Patnaik took to the micro-blogging site and wished for everyone’s happiness and prosperity with the blessings of Lord Jagannath.
