Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to hold a roadshow in the Odisha capital here on June 12.

The Prime Minister will hold the roadshow in the capital city here days after the BJP won the Assembly as well as Assembly polls in the state.

The Prime Minister will hold the roadshow from Jaydev Vihar to Janata Maidan in the evening of June 12. He is also scheduled to address a press conference at Janata Maidan, the venue of the oath taking ceremony of the new Chief Minister and Council of Ministers in Odisha.

Notably, the BJP has won 78 of the total 147 Assembly seats in Odisha in the just concluded polls. The BJD managed to get 51 seats and the Congress party 14 seats while four Assembly segments went to independent nominees.

Candidates of the BJP also came victorious from 20 of 21 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha and Congress party got one seat. The Naveen Patnaik-led BJD failed to open its account in the Lok Sabha polls in the state.
