Bhubaneswar: As Odisha remains a major focus for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the ensuing twin elections scheduled from tomorrow, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the state again for the election campaign this month.

PM Narendra Modi, who is the top star campaigner of the BJP, will visit Odisha on May 20, informed Odisha BJP's vice president Golak Mohapatra today.

PM Modi is scheduled to hold a roadshow at Puri in the morning on May 20. Later, he will address two public meetings in Cuttack and Angul.

This will be Modi's third visit to Odisha in a month to campaign for the party's Lok Sabha and Assembly candidates. Yesterday, the PM held a marathon campaign in Kandhamal, Balangir and Bargarh districts after a mega roadshow in Bhubaneswar on May 10 night.

Similarly, top BJP leadership -- party's national president JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah -- will hit the election campaign trail again in Odisha.

As per the schedule, Amit Shah will visit Odisha on May 15 to attend public meetings in Rourkela, Kantabanji and Soroda. Nadda is scheduled to visit Sundargarh, Hinjili and Padampur on May 17.
