Prime Minister Narendra Modi today expressed his deepest condolences to the families of those killed in lightning in various parts of Odisha yesterday.
The Prime Minister took to Twitter to express his condolences.

On the other hand, at least five people were killed across the state today due to lightning strike.
State Disaster Management Control Room reported 32 lightning deaths across the state yesterday.
While the maximum number of eight deaths was reported from Bhadrak district, seven casualties were reported in Balasore district, five in Khurda, three in Mayurbhanj, three in Jajpur and one each in Kendrapara, Keonjhar and Nayagarh.
