PM Narendra Modi to visit Odisha on March 29, April 1

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Odisha twice on March 29 and April 1 to campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the upcoming general elections 2019.

On his Odisha trip, Modi will attend election rallies at Jeypore and on March 29 and Kalahandi on Utkala Dibas i.e April 1, informed State BJP spokesperson Golak Mohapatra today.

Besides, six union ministers — Radha Mohan Singh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, RK Singh, Ram Vichar Netam, Sanjay Paswan and Jayant Sinha — will visit Odisha on March 26 ahead of PM’s programmes, he said.

Worth mentioning, BJP has released its list of candidates for both Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. In the first list, the party announced poll candidates for 10 Lok Sabha and 100 Assembly seats in Odisha. The second list was announced late on Friday night with nomination of 5 candidatures for Lok Sabha and 22 for Assembly seats the State.
