Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Odisha on May 26 on the occasion of completion of four years of BJP government at Centre, informed BJP's State in-charge Arun Singh here today.
"It is a great thing for us that PM Modi is visiting Odisha on completion of four years of the government to address people here and to highlight Centre's achievements during his rule," Singh told media.
PM Modi will attend a mega public rally programme to be held at Bali Jatra ground in Cuttack during his one-day visit to Odisha, said State BJP president Basant Panda at party's state executive meeting.
"PM Modi will highlight the pro-people as well as developmental schemes and policies of the BJP government at the Centre," Panda said.
According to reports, a team of senior party leaders of BJP has reviewed the situation after visiting Bali Jatra ground on Mahanadi River bank on Friday night.
The party is trying to motivate Odisha voters by inviting Modi to the state in view of the upcoming general elections 2019.
