PM praises Odisha CM for registering sister’s details on COVID-19 portal

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today praised Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for his decision to register the details of his sister on the Odisha government’s COVID-19 portal.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister stated, “Setting a great example, Chief Minister! I hope others also emulate Naveen Babu. We all can do our bit in preventing the spread of COVID-19.”

Earlier in the day, the Odisha Chief Minister said he has registered the details of his sister, Geeta Mehta on the COVID-19 portal after her return from abroad. He also appealed others to register details of their family members and friends returning from abroad.

The Odisha government today said a total of 2,131 persons returned from 80 countries have registered themselves on the State government’s COVID-19 portal, https://covid19.odisha.gov.in/ so far.
