Bhubaneswar: After being featured in renowned lyricist Gulzar's 'A Poem A Day', a collection of poems, Kosli poet and Padma Shri Haldhar Nag has expressed his gratitude towards the filmmaker and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

Nag has written a letter to Gulzar and Patnaik thanking the two. He also praised the Chief Minister for the decision of setting up a Kosli dialect and literature research centre at his village Ghens in Bargarh district.

Worth mentioning, Nag has found place on the first page of 'A Poem A Day' which is a collection of Indian poems selected and translated by Gulzar. The book features 365 contemporary poems in 34 languages of 279 poets across the country.

In the book, the award-winning writer begins with two poems of the Haldhar Nag-- 'Pancha Amruta' and 'Chitthi deuchhen re Haldhar'. On the first page, Gulzar writes, "Dear Haldhar, you are like sunrise of my book". Gulzar has also sent a letter to the Kosli poet expressing that he is excited to meet him in person.
