Koraput: A gunfight took place between security forces and Maoists at Hatibari forest under Nandapur police limits in Odisha's Koraput district late last night.

The incident took place during a combing operation by the security forces and the ultras ran helter-skelter during the exchange of fire.

Till last reports came in, there were no casualties and operation was underway. More details awaited.
