Ponzi firms still operating in Odisha!

Despite the hullabaloo of chit fund firms having duped gullible depositors of crores in Odisha and elsewhere and the arrests thereof, depositors lodging a complaint at Madhupatna police station here today of having been duped of their hard earned money by another Ponzi firm Mission India Pariwar has proved the fact that such firms are still thriving in the state right under the nose of the government.

Investors of Mission India Pariwar today lodged a complaint with Madhupatna police here alleging of having been duped by the company.

According to the complaint the company had opened an office in Cuttack and was mobilizing deposits from people in the city and surrounding areas.

The investors claimed that when they had been seeking payment on maturity of their deposits in last few days the officials of the company had been tricking them to believe that they will be getting their money sooner and today they found the office locked.
