Popular RJ of AIR FM Rainbow Cuttack passes away

Cuttack: Mera awaaz hi mera pehchaan… Main hoon aapka Aysan!  Listeners of AIR FM Rainbow, Cuttack will no more hear him as he goes silent forever.

The popular RJ passed away while undergoing treatment at a private hospital here today. He was 34.

Sources said Aysan was suffering from fever for last few days and was admitted to a private hospital here four days ago after he complained of breathing difficulty. Later, he was diagnosed with pneumonia and was on ventilator support since late last night. He breathed his last early this morning.

A resident of Bangali Sahi here, Aysan captivated listeners with his inimitable voice and unique presentation style. Soon after his demise, a pal of gloom descended on the radio fraternity. His fans and loyal listeners took to social media to condole the RJ’s death.

“He was more of a brother to me than colleague. I am devastated to hear about his demise. He was such a wonderful person and a great human being. I will miss him forever,” said Siuli Ghosh, his colleague and RJ at AIR FM Rainbow, Cuttack.
