Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre here has issued Yellow Warning for several districts of Odisha on November 16 and 17 in view of the possible depression over the Bay of Bengal.
"A Low Pressure Area is likely to form over Southeast Bay of Bengal during next 24 hours. It is likely to move west northwestwards and intensify into a depression over Westcentral Bay of Bengal around 16th November," the Meteorological Centre forecasted.
Yellow Warning has been issued for the districts mentioned below.
November 16: Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Cuttack and thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Dhenkanal and Mayurbhanj.
November 17: Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Khurda, Puri and Dhenkanal.
