Power generation from OPGC unit-II in Odisha to resume after two months

The second unit of the Odisha Power Generation Corporation (OPGC)’s Ib Thermal Power Plant at Banharpalli in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district was shut down today for annual maintenance, OPGC sources said.

Power generation from the unit will remain closed for two months from the unit, the sources added.

The OPGC IB Thermal Power Station has two units of 210 MW each.
