Pradhan, Vaishnaw to flag off Bhadrak-Nayagarh MEMU at Cuttack station on March 30

The Union Education Minister will celebrate Utkal Diwas at Kotia in Koraput district

Bhubaneswar: Union Minister of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan and Union Minister of Railways, Communication and Electronics & Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw will flag off of the inaugural run of Bhadrak-Nayagarh Town-Bhadrak MEMU at Cuttack Railway Station on the occasion of Sriram Navami on March 30.

On the inaugural Day, this train will leave Cuttack Station at about 1515hrs. However, the regular service will commence on March 31.

The Railway Minister had announced to provide a new train from Bhadrak towards Bhubaneswar during the foundation stone laying ceremony of Redevelopment of Bhubaneswar Railway Station.

This train will provide facilities to the public of the respective regions for direct journey instead of changing transportation facilities at intermediate places. This new train will run as a special train on its inaugural day, said an official.

08555/08556 Bhadrak-Nayagarh Town-Bhadrak MEMU will leave Bhadrak at 0545hrs and will reach Nayagarh Town at 1155hrs. In the return direction, the train will leave Nayagarh Town at 1705hrs and will reach Bhadrak at 2245hrs. The train will have stoppages at all stations and passenger halts between Bhadrak and Nayagarh Town from both the directions.

The Union Education Minister will participate in an event at Ravenshaw University in Cuttack on March 30. He is scheduled to participate in another event in the capital city here on March 31.

The Union Education Minister will celebrate Utkal Diwas at Kotia in Koraput district of Odisha on April 1, sources said.
