Bhubaneswar: Prateek Chaudhury, a student of Bhubaneswar-based SAI International School, became topper from the state in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Exam 2019, the results of which were declared today.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) which conducted the exam has published the results on the official website of JEE Main jeemain.nic.in this evening.
According to an official statement, as many as 24 candidates have received 100 NTA Scores (percentile scores) in JEE Main January 2019 and April 2019 examinations in Paper 1, which is being held for engineering and technological admissions.
The best score of the two exams will be considered for being shortlisted for admission in various institutes and also as eligibility for JEE Advanced.
The candidates who secure a rank in top 2,45,000 students are eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exam.
Out of 6,08,440 candidates appearing in both the months, 2,97,932 candidates have improved their performance, the NTA said.
