Boudh: A pregnant woman died and her husband sustained critical injuries after a motorcycle on which they were travelling was hit by a truck on NH-57 near Badalasahi in Odisha's Boudh district today.

According to reports, Santosh Pradhan was returning home from his in-laws' house with his pregnant wife Jyotsna on a motorcycle when a speeding truck hit the two-wheeler killing the woman on the spot.

Santosh was grievously injured in the road mishap and was admitted to Puruna Cuttack hospital. Police have seized the truck and initiated investigation into the incident.
