President Droupadi Murmu’s Lingaraj Temple visit: Read her handwritten note; see pics here

Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu wrote a note in the visitors’ log at the Lingaraj Temple during her two-day visit to Odisha.

After offering prayer to Lord Lingraj at the centuries old Shiva shrine in Bhubaneswar, President Murmu wrote a message in the visitor’s book of the temple praying for well being of her countrymen.

President Murmu prayed at the Lingaraj Temple performing Jalabhishek on the Shivling inside the sanctum sanctorum this morning.

Accompanied by her daughter Itishree Murmu, Murmu walked barefoot from Bindu Sagar lake to the Lingaraj Temple to have holy darshan of Lord Shiva.

Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal and servitors of the temple welcomed the President at the temple.
