NROs celebrate Raja festival in Netherlands

President Pranab Mukherjee taking a close look at the medal Sudarsan Pattnaik won at the sand sculpting World Cup in Atlantic City, USA recently.

President of India Pranab Mukherjee today felicitated internationally acclaimed sand artist from Odisha Sudarsan Pattnaik on winning the People’s Choice prize at the sand sculpting World Cup in Atlantic City, USA recently.

The President evinced keen interest in the winning medal and the photographs from the competition when Pattnaik called on him today.

Sudarasan also won another prize in the doubles’ category in collaboration with his American partner for his painting on the theme of love, which depicted the eternal love between Emperor Shahjahan and Mumtaz.
