President on two-day visit to Odisha this month. Here’s schedule

Bhubaneswar: President Ram Nath Kovind will embark upon his two-day visit to Odisha on September 27 for various official engagements.

As per the reports, Kovind will arrive at Bhubaneswar on September 27 evening. After one-night halt at Raj Bhawan, he will leave for Berhampur in Ganjam district next morning on Sept 28. He will return to Bhubaneswar at around 11.00 am. He is scheduled to make his way back to New Delhi on the same day.

In view of President’s visit to Odisha, a preparatory meeting was held here today for security arrangements as per the Blue Book containing rules and guidelines for the protection of head of the country.

“Discussion was made with Intelligence, CISF, airport authorities and other stakeholders on various security arrangements as per the Blue Book guidelines for President’s visit,” informed Odisha DGP BK Sharma.
