President of India Pranab Mukherjee will be on a two-day visit to Odisha beginning November 29, sources said today.
pranab_president_ptiDuring his two-day visit, he would attend the golden jubilee celebrations of Rama Devi Women’s Autonomous College and Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya.

Besides, Mukherjee will also inaugurate the new campus of Utkal University of Culture.

Although these three events are scheduled to be held on the same day, he would attend one of the events on November 29 and the other two the next day.

The visit of the President was finalized following a request by the Odisha Tourism and Culture secretary Dr Arabinda Padhee.

This would be third visit of the President to the state in the last two years.

Earlier, he had visited the state to attend the convocation of Utkal University and IIT, Bhubaneswar.
