Bhubaneswar: The private bus service in Koraput district resumed today as the conflict between bus owners and their employees came to an end following the district administration's intervention.

The Koraput administration on the direction of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi held talks with the Private Bus Owners' Association and the Employees' Association to break the impasse.

Following the discussion, the bus service was normalised in the southern Odisha district.

CM Mohan Majhi advised the transport department, both the associations and district administration to give priority to the interest of passengers at all times.

According to reports, the private bus service was halted on Friday in Koraput district due to a disagreement between the bus owners and employees over bus timings.
