Priyanka Gandhi to visit Odisha in February

Bhubaneswar: Newly-appointed All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi is likely to visit Odisha’s Koraput district in February.

The date of her visit to the State will soon be finalised, said senior Congress leader and Opposition Chief Whip Tara Prasad Bahinipati.

Speaking to mediapersons, Bahinipati said, “The AICC general secretary will visit the State in February. The date of her visit will soon be finalised. She will attend a public meeting in Koraput on the day. I had requested AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi and held discussion with party’s Odisha in-charge Jitendra Singh for the same.”

On the other hand, BJP National President Amit Shah will visit Puri on February 3 to attend a national-level tribal convention, said BJP Odisha in-charge Arun Singh.
