Prof Kshiti Bhushan Das appointed new VC of Central University of Jharkhand

Bhubaneswar: Distinguished educationist Professor Kshiti Bhushan Das from Odisha has been appointed as the new Vice Chancellor of Central University of Jharkhand.

President Ramnath Kovind appointed vice-chancellors to 12 central universities including Jharkhand Central University on Friday.

Professor Kshiti Bhushan Das presently the Pro Vice Chancellor of Central University of Odisha, Koraput, has 38 years of experience in academics and research. He has authored 5 books and his research papers have been published in many national and international journals.

Prior to joining the Central University of Odisha, Prof. Das was the Pro Vice-Chancellor of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi.

He was also the Dean and Professor of the Commerce and Management, Utkal University and SOA University, Bhubaneswar.

During his career, he had held different positions such as Director, College Dev. Council, Registrar, Dean, Head of the Department and Programme Coordinator at the Utkal University.
