Proxy war: Prabhujee school parents file FIR against Zee Kalinga

The beleaguered Swami Shankarananda Giri, accused of land grab and duping a Danish national of nearly Rs 2 crore, has launched a proxy war against the Zee Kalinga Odia news channel, which has taken the lead in exposing the self-styled godman’s dubious deeds, and its editor Satya Prakash Nayak.
The administration and parents of students of Prabhujee English meium school and the foreign lady found with Baba in Chandikhol have registered cases against Zee Kalinga news head Satyaprakash Nayak in the Sahid Nagar police station accusing them of fomenting trouble and incitinThana.g violence.
Some parents of the Prabhujee School students have accused Nayak of taking a bribe in lakhs to tarnish the image of Shankarananda Baba and the school.
Similarly, a foreigner lady who was caught with Shankarananda from a hotel in Chandikhol has accused Satyaprakash of misbehaviour and threatening while he was leading a Zee Kalinga team in Mahila thana. The police have registered three cases in this connection.
On the other hand, Zee Kalinga reporter Pritikanta Nayak filed a case against Shankarananda, accusing his supporters of threatening him. Supporters of Shankarananda and school authorities had verbally abused him and his cameraperson and threatened to kill them when they had gone to cover the agitation in front of the school at about 8 pm on Tuesday, Nayak alleged in his complaint.
