Puri Jagannath Temple to remain closed from tonight for 16 hours

Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple in Odisha’s Puri will remain closed for devotees for 16 hours from 10 pm today.

The temple will reopen tomorrow at 2 pm, the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) informed.

The decision has been taken in view of the preparations for the Debasnana Purnima festival as several rituals in this regard will be carried out by the servitors during the period.

Notably, Debasnana Purnima falls on June 4, this year.
