PVC pipes worth crores for water project catch fire in Odisha’s Sonepur
Sonepur: PVC pipes worth crores of rupees for mega water project of RWSS caught fire on roadside near Langalakata village under Dunguripali block of Odisha’s Sonepur district, today.
The PVC pipes were stocked at an yard and got gutted in the blaze. Thick smoke emanated from the spot of incident, making vehicular movement difficult in the area. It also caused inconvenience for the locals.

On being informed about the accident, Fire Services personnel rushed to the spot and initiated efforts to douse the flames.
Reports said that burning of hay at farmlands in the village led to the fire mishap at the yard.
