Python rescued near COVID hospital in Odisha

Malkangiri: An eight-feet long python was rescued in front of Malkangiri COVID hospital in Odisha last evening.

Locals spotted the snake, an Indian rock python, crawling on the main road near the hospital after rainfall in the area. On being informed by them, a member of the Snake Helpline reached the spot and rescued the reptile.

It was later handed over to the Forest Department and eventually released into the nearby forest.
