Inmate of quarantine centre dies in Odisha’s Boudh

Boudh: An inmate of an institutional quarantine centre in Boudh district died today. The incident was reported from the Gaudadei quarantine centre in the district.

Official sources said swab sample of the concerned person were sent for COVID-19 tests. But the inmate of the quarantine centre breathed his last this afternoon.

The inmate’s body was taken to the Boudh COVID Care Centre for post mortem.

The district administration is yet to provide any information on the death.

So far, a total of 50 persons tested positive for the deadly virus in Boudh. The number of active cases stands at nine whereas 41 patients have recovered in the district.
