Quiz competition on Gandhi held at Cuttack

Cuttack: A quiz competition was organized today on the theme -Life and philosophy of Gandhi at the exhibition hanger at Ravenshaw University campus in Odisha’s Cuttack.

A five-day mega exhibition which was inaugurated yesterday by Cuttack MP Bhartruhari Mahatab to commemorate 150th birth anniversary of Gandhiji is being organized by Regional Outreach Bureau ( Odisha) , Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Priyadarshi Kar , assistant professor ( History), Ravenshaw University moderated the quiz session. Students from the varsity and from other educational institutions participated in the event in large numbers. The winners were felicitated with the prizes and merit certificates.

Registrar of Ravenshaw University Ashok Kumar Dash, Dr Umakant Mishra, assistant professor , Ravenshaw University and Dr Ravi Ranjan Sahoo, Social activist also spoke elaborately on Gandhian Philosophy. Akhil Kumar Mishra, Director, Regional Outreach Bureau (Odisha) was also present in the event. Cultural programs were also held after the event.
