Rahul Gandhi to visit Odisha in February last week

Bhubaneswar: With the general elections fast approaching, Congress is leaving no stone unturned to strengthen the party’s base in the State.

After visiting Odisha twice in a span of 12 days, All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Rahul Gandhi is again scheduled to visit the State in the last week of February. He will attend a public rally in Bargarh. This will be his first visit to the Bargarh district as Congress president.

Speaking to mediapersons, Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) President Niranjan Patnaik said, “Rahul Gandhi will visit Bargarh in the last week this month. However, the date is yet to be finalized. Tentatively, he may come between February 26 and 28.”

This will be Rahul’s second visit to the State in February. Earlier on February 6, the Congress National President attended two public meetings at Bhawanipatna in Koraput district and Rourkela in Sundergarh district.
