Boudh: Police detained a security guard working for a railway contract company for allegedly killing his colleague in Odisha's Boudh district.

The accused has been identified as Prakash Behera, a resident of Khuntiapada village in Boudh.

The body of the deceased security guard identified as Ranjan Pradhan was recovered near an under-construction railway bridge at Jogibhogra village under Boudh police limits this morning.

According to reports, Ranjan Pradhan of Mundipadar village was working as a security guard for a railway contract firm. He was staying with his family at his in-laws' house in Routbahal village.

The security guard Prakash allegedly killed his co-worker Ranjan over some unknown reason last night, police said today.

Police seized the body and initiated an investigation by detaining the accused for questioning in the murder case.
