Railway employee falls off train in Odisha, dies

Rayagada: A Railway employee died today after falling off a moving train in Odisha’s Rayagada district today. The deceased was identified as Santosh Kumar Singh.

Singh, who was working as a Senior Goods Guard in Titlagarh, fell on the railway track while de-boarding a moving goods train at the Rayagada railway station. He died on the spot after being run over by the train.

As Singh was assigned a duty, he arrived in the goods train at the Rayagada railway station from Titlagarh.

The Railway police recovered the body and sent it for post mortem till the filing of this report.
