Railways to extend stoppage of Special Trains from Oct 1, here’re the details

Bhubaneswar: The Indian Railways today decided to provide additional stoppages of the Special Trains from October 1, 2020. Also, the railways extended some special trains to Puri. In a statement, the railways said preparatory time has been given to all the concerned departments to gear up for extension and additional stoppages.

A. ADDITIONAL STOPPAGES OF THE SPECIAL TRAINS:

01. MUMBAI-BHUBANESWAR-MUMBAI SPECIAL KONARK EXPRESS-
01019/01020 Mumbai-Bhubaneswar-Mumbai Special Konark Express will have additional stoppage at Balugaon, Chhatrapur and Brahmapur from both the directions.

02. SECUNDERABAD-HOWRAH-SECUNDERABAD FALAKNUMA SPECIAL
02704/02703 Secunderabad-Howrah-Secunderabad Falaknuma Special will have additional stoppage at Balugaon and Berhampur from both the directions.

03. GUWAHATI-BANGALORE-GUWAHATI TRI-WEEKLY SPECIAL
02510/02509 Guwahati-Bangalore-Guwahati tri-weekly special will have additional stoppage at Balugaon and Berhampur from both the directions.

04. HOWRAH-TIRUCHIRAPALLI-HOWRAH BI-WEEKLY SPECIAL
02663/02664 Howrah-Tiruchirapalli-Howrah bi-weekly special will have additional stoppage at Brahmapur from both the directions.

05. KHURDA ROAD-AHMEDABAD-KHURDA ROAD SPECIAL
02843/02844 Khurda Road-Ahmedabad-Khurda Road special will have additional stoppage at Kalupadaghat, Balugaon, Khalikote, Chhatrapur & Brahmapur from both the directions.

06. KHURDA ROAD-OKHA-KHURDA ROAD SPECIAL
02843/02844 Khurda Road-Okha-Khurda Road special will have additional stoppage at Balugaon & Chhatrapur from both the directions.

07. GANDHIDHAM-KHURDA ROAD-GANDHIDHAM SPECIAL
02973/02974 Gandhidham-Khurda Road-Gandhidham special will have additional stoppage at Balugaon, Chhatrapur & Muniguda from both the directions.

08. BHUBANESWAR-AHMEDABAD-BHUBANESWAR SPECIAL VIA SAMBALPUR
02843/02844 Bhubaneswar-Ahmedabad-Bhubaneswar special will have additional stoppage at Boinda, Rairakhol & Hirakud from both the directions.

09. BHUBANESWAR-DURG-BHUBANESWAR SPECIAL VIA SAMBALPUR
08425/08426 Bhubaneswar-Durg-Bhubaneswar special will have additional stoppage at Barpali, Badmal, Harishankar Road & Nawapara Road from both the directions.

10. VISAKHAPATNAM-KORBA-VISAKHAPATNAM SPECIAL
08518/08517 Visakhapatnam-Korba-Visakhapatnam Special will have additional stoppage at Muniguda & Harishankar Road from both the directions.

B. EXTENSION OF SPECIAL TRAINS TO PURI:

01. Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Special
02801/02802 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Special Purusottam Express leaving from both the directions w.e.f. 1st October, 2020 has been extended to Puri.

02. Bhubaneswar-Sealdah-Bhubaneswar Duronto Special
02202/02201 Bhubaneswar-Sealdah-Bhubaneswar Duronto Special from Sealdah w.e.f. 30th September and from Bhubaneswar w.e.f. 1st October, 2020 has been extended to Puri.

03. Bhubaneswar-Durg-Bhubaneswar Special
08425/08426 Bhubaneswar-Durg-Bhubaneswar Special both from Durg & Bhubaneswar w.e.f. 1st October, 2020 has been extended to Puri.

04. Khurda Road-Ahmedabad-Khurda Road Special
02843/02844 Khurda Road-Ahmedabad-Khurda Road Special both from Khurda Road & Ahmedabad w.e.f. 1st October, 2020 has been extended to Puri.

05. Bhubaneswar -Ahmedabad- Bhubaneswar Special
08405/08406 Bhubaneswar -Ahmedabad- Bhubaneswar Special from Bhubaneswar w.e.f. 30th September & from Ahmedabad w.e.f. 2nd October, 2020 has been extended to Puri.

06. Khurda Road-Okha-Khurda Road Special
08401/08402 Khurda Road-Okha-Khurda Road Special from Khurda Road/Puri w.e.f. 4th October & Okha w.e.f. 7th October, 2020 has been extended to Puri.

07. Khurda Road -Gandhidham- Khurda Road Special
