Rain likely in Odisha on Jan 17, 18

Bhubaneswar: Rain is likely in several places of Odisha on January 17 and 18, predicted Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre of the IMD.

As per forecast, light rain is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack and Dhenkanal on January 17.

Similarly, light rain is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak,
Kendrapada and Jagatsinghpur on January 18.

There will be no large change in Minimum Temperature (Night Temperature) over the districts of Odisha during next 5 days.

The weathermen forecast dense fog at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Cuttack, Angul, Dhenkanal between tonight and tomorrow morning.

Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Angul, Dhenkanal and Kandhamal during next 24 hours.
