Rain likely to bring relief from humidity in some parts of Odisha from tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: Despite subdued southwest monsoon over Odisha, a few spell of rainfall is likely to bring relief from high humidity in several districts from September 3 (tomorrow).

According to regional meteorological centre of the IMD, the rain is likely to occur at some parts of the state from September 3. The intensity of rainfall activity is likely to increase from September 6.

The IMD has issued yellow warning of rainfall for some districts during next five days till September 7.

As per the prediction, thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Balangir, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore between September 3 and 4.

Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Boudh, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri between September 4 and 5.

Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Boudh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Balasore. Also Heavy Rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj between September 5 and 6.

Heavy Rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri, Khordha, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur between September 6 and 7.
