Rain likely to dampen Holi festivities in these Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: Rainfall is likely to play spoilsport in Holi celebrations in several districts of Odisha tomorrow.

As per the Regional Meteorological Centre, light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Rayagada, Koraput, Gajapati, Kalahandi and at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Puri, Nuapada, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj tomorrow.

However, dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

The Meteorological Centre further predicted that thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Rayagada, Koraput, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Sundargarh and Keonjhar.
