Rain likely to drench Odisha for 5 days. Here’s day-wise forecast

Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha are likely to experience rainfall for next five days starting today, the Regional Meteorological Centre predicted.

Here’s day-wise weather forecast for the state:

March 2: Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Gajapati and Rayagada and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

Yellow warning: Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Balasore and Gajapati.

March 3: Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur & Baleswar and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

March 4: Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Balasore, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Kandhamal, Khurda & Cuttack and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha.

Yellow warning: Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bhadrak, Balasore, Kendrapada, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal & Jajpur.

March 5: Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at most places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Angul and at many places over the districts of Kandhamal, Deogarh, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Khurda, Boudh, Kalahandi & Sonepur and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha.

Yellow warning: 1.Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kandhamal, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Khurda, Cuttack, Sonepur, Boudh and Kalahandi.

2. Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kandhamal, Angul, Dhenkanal, Khurda, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak & Mayurbhanj.

March 6: Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at many places over the districts of North Odisha and at a few Places over the districts of South Odisha.

Yellow warning: Thunderstorm with lighting and gusty surface winds, speed reaching 30 to 40 kmph very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Boudh, Angul, Kandhamal, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Dhenkanal and Cuttack.

March 7: Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at many places over the districts of North Odisha and at a few Places over the districts of South Odisha.

Yellow warning: Thunderstorm with lighting and gusty surface winds, speed reaching 30 to 40 kmph very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Khordha, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh and Dhenkanal.
