Rain on cards for Odisha till Feb 6; night temperature likely to rise

Bhubaneswar: The regional meteorological centre has predicted light to moderate rainfall in some parts of Odisha during next four days.

According to Bhubaneswar MeT, there will be a significant change in weather in the state from today. The weather will be cloudy during day times and night temperature will increase by 3-4 degree Celsius in next three days.

While light rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Rayagada, Sonepur, Boudh and Kandhamal on Feb 2 and 3, dense fog may cover some places in Kalahandi, Malkangiri, Kandhamal, Koraput, Sonepur and Rayagada districts in these two days. There may be moderate rain next days in these places.

However, thundershower may occur at a few places over the districts in coastal, western and interior regions of the state on Feb 5 and 6.
